Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust is committed to quality and to continuous improvement.

Our Quality Management Policy describes this commitment, underscored by our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Our Quality Management Policy applies to all ŌCHT employees, including senior leadership, managers, employees, volunteers or any contractors or visitors entering our workplace, regardless of location or time.

Embedded within the delivery of our services is a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. It gives ŌCHT and stakeholders the confidence that the provision of services will be delivered effectively and consistently to the standards required.

ŌCHT is committed to:

  • working closely with our Tenants, partners, and stakeholders to fully understand their needs and meet their expectations

  • complying with all legal and other relevant requirements

  • setting objectives and targets to monitor our performance

  • developing effective relationships with our subcontractors and suppliers, requiring quality from them

The objectives of the ŌCHT’s quality management system are:

  • tenant satisfaction

  • occupancy rate

  • let-to-let timeframes

  • compliance to all legal and other requirements

All objectives are measurable and monitored.

Responsibilities

  • The Chief Executive is ultimately responsible for the Quality Management System.

  • The Systems and Compliance Advisor is responsible for advising, establishing, and implementing the Quality Management System conforming to ISO 9001, reporting on the performance of the system, ensuring the integrity of the system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.

Our approaches to quality management, the environment and health and safety are International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certified.
